| Art Charge. |
| An
Art Charge is generally applied to all orders that SUBMIT ART for a
design to be printed. It is a one time charge for time spent
converting your art into useable art on our computer system, that is
necessary to produce your order. Charges are based on the number of
hours used to manipulate your design, and produce film positives or
color separations. Once you've paid an Art Charge to produce a
specific design, it is electronically kept on file with Mark-Art to
ensure consistent reproduction in quality & color. Camera Ready
artwork or Ad Slicks are available upon request at no additional
cost. Art Charges MAY NOT apply to your design, depending on the complexity of your design & size of your order. Art Charges are $35.00 / per hour - 1 hour minimum |
Scan Charge. |

Scan Charge is generally applied to all orders that SUBMIT ART IN
HARD COPY FORM. (a design on paper as opposed to a digital image on
a disk) for a design to be printed. It is a one time charge for time
spent scanning at high resolution & converting your design into
editable art on our computer system. Scanning is done only if it is
necessary to produce your order. Charges are based on the number of
scans used to produce your design, and generate film positives or
color separations. Once you've paid a Scan Charge, it is
electronically kept on file with Mark-Art to ensure consistent
reproduction in quality & color. Camera Ready artwork or Ad
Slicks are available upon request at no additional cost. Scan Charges MAY NOT apply to your design, depending on the complexity of your design & size of your order. Scan Charges are $35.00/per scan-Including minor editing-1hour max. |
Set-Up Fee. |
| A
Set-Up Fee must be paid for each design to be printed. It is a one
time charge that represents a portion of the total cost involved in
making the silk screens necessary to produce your order. A Set-Up
Fee is based on the number of colors, or screens used to reproduce
your design (one screen per print color). Once a Set-Up Fee has been
paid to produce a specific design, the finished Silk Screens are
kept on file with Mark-Art (for future use) for one year from the
placement of your last order. Set-Up Charges apply whether you
submit art or use a design that Mark-Art has produced for you. |
